How to Add / Install the App

Option A: Install via Zoom App Invite (Private/Beta Access)
You will receive a private installation link.

1. Click the link provided by the App owner.

2. Sign in to your Zoom account if prompted.

3. Click Add or Authorize to install the App.

4. The App will appear in your Zoom client under Apps.

Option B: Install While in a Zoom Meeting
If a host invites you to use it:

1. You will see a prompt inside Zoom to join the app.

2. Click Join and Authorize.

3. The App will open in the sidebar.

How to use the Ah-Counter App During a Meeting

Once the app is open inside Zoom:

Setting Up

• The App auto-loads with a default list of sample speaker names.

• Click Add Speaker to add people from your meeting (or type your own names).

• Click any name’s × to remove them.

Counting Filler Words

• Click a filler word button under a speaker’s row to add 1 occurrence.

• Right-click (or long-press) to subtract 1 if you added it by mistake.

• Click Other if a new filler word is used — you'll enter the new word and a new column is added.

Viewing the Summary

• Click Show Summary to view speaker totals and filler-word totals.

• Click Copy to copy the summary text for meeting notes.

• Click Hide Summary to return to the tracking table.

Resetting the Counter

• Click Reset All to clear the board for a new meeting.

How to Remove / Uninstall the App

To remove the App from your Zoom account:

1. Go to: https://marketplace.zoom.us/user/apps 

2. Sign into Zoom if needed.

3. Find the Ah-Counter App under Installed Apps.

4. Click Remove.

5. Confirm removal if prompted.

Removing the App only affects your Zoom account and does not delete any stored local data on your device. To also clear local data, open the App and click Reset All.
